The 2025 ECOSOC Youth Forum, held from April 15–17 in New York, provides a vital platform for young people to engage with global leaders in shaping sustainable development. GLF Forests 2025, scheduled for April 24–25 in Bonn and online, will unite global experts to craft strategies for forest conservation over the next decade. GHACOF 70 will convene in Addis Ababa on May 19–20, 2025, uniting regional stakeholders to enhance climate services and early warning systems. Panama Climate Week 2025, scheduled for May 19–23 in Panama City, will unite global stakeholders to advance climate action aligned with the Paris Agreement. The event will focus on enhancing NDCs, climate finance, and inclusive strategies, while showcasing Panama’s Nature Pledge. A concurrent Nature Summit will promote partnerships for nature-based solutions, setting the stage for COP30.

Scheduled for June 2–6, 2025, in Geneva, the 8th Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction (GP2025) will unite global stakeholders to evaluate and enhance the implementation of the Sendai Framework. With the theme "Every Day Counts, Act for Resilience Today," the conference aims to accelerate disaster risk reduction efforts and strengthen global resilience strategies.

The 2025 United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3), set for June 9–13 in Nice, France, will focus on the theme “Accelerating action and mobilizing all actors to conserve and sustainably use the ocean,” in support of SDG 14. Key priorities include strengthening multilateral ocean governance, financing a sustainable blue economy, and promoting marine science for informed policy-making. The conference will feature plenary sessions, Ocean Action Panels, and side events, bringing together governments, UN agencies, NGOs, scientists, private sector leaders, and Indigenous communities. A major outcome will be the adoption of the Nice Ocean Action Plan, a joint political declaration with voluntary commitments. Pre-conference events include the One Ocean Science Congress, Blue Economy and Finance Forum, and Ocean Rise and Coastal Resilience Coalition Summit. The 62nd sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB 62) will convene from June 16 to 26, 2025, at the World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB) in Germany. These sessions encompass the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI), which are integral to the UNFCCC process. SB 62 will serve as a critical platform for advancing technical negotiations and implementation strategies ahead of COP30 in Belém, Brazil. COP30 will be held in Belém, Brazil, from November 10–21, 2025, spotlighting the Amazon's significance in climate discussions. The conference aims to strengthen global climate commitments, with a focus on enhanced NDCs, increased climate finance, and inclusive participation, particularly from Indigenous communities. Pre-COP talks in Brasília will set the stage for these critical negotiations.

The event aims to foster collaborations, share best practices, and drive investments into Africa’s green economy, addressing key topics like renewable energy, sustainable finance, and corporate responsibility.
